I was an early starter in the business world. Up before dawn and only 13 years old, I had a command of bicycle operations and my neighborhood’s newspaper distribution system. That first taste of success—along with my quest to learn, organize and achieve goals—laid a foundation for an outstanding career path. Starting from the bottom of the construction industry and working my way up is what fueled a breadth of knowledge, vision and expertise. Over the years and 4,500 single- and multi-family homes later, I learned the processes required to consistently succeed at increasing revenue flows, minimizing costs, boosting productivity and meeting sales/marketing goals. Then as a vice president of operations for a handful of $200+ million companies, I garnered over a decade of leadership experience. Along came many successes in the implementation of operations systems and the cultivation of a wide range of projects—from developing a spectacular golf course and its adjacent exclusive community in Park City, Utah to building out over 200,000 sq. ft. of retail/office space in Northern California.
    Building things is what I’m all about—whether it’s a residential or commercial development, a business plan, a marketing team or a valued relationship. As a result, I have forged personal connections with many of the largest developers and builders in California and make it a priority to connect with my peers as a member of the California Building Industry Association (CBIA), the National Association of Home Building (NAHB) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Even though I excel as a leader and have a long list of accomplishments, it’s the rich collaborative environment at Paragon that guarantees one success after another. And it’s our clients who end up being the very fortunate benefactors.
